Capacity: Markree Castle can accommodate a maximum of 150 people for dinner.
Availability: Markree Castle is available for weddings throughout the year. Specific availability can be ascertained by contacting our reservations team.
Reception Cocktail: We offer a wide variety of reception drinks for your guests upon arrival, to include champagne, punch, mulled wine, or any other refreshment that you desire.
Wedding Meal: Special attention is given to the wedding meal, from quality of preparation to presentation. Menus are flexible and range from 44.50 euro.
Wine: With an extensive winelist from the old and new world in the castle cellar, all palates will be pleased. We offer a wonderful selection of house recommendations perfect for important celebrations.
Accommodation: Markree Castle has 30 bedrooms, each accommodating at least 2 people. A minimum of 20 bedrooms must be booked for exclusive functions. We are happy to offer a 10% discount for your wedding guests, and the bridal room is complimentary on the special night.

The castle chapel is available for use (at the moment for blessings only, although legislation is pending which would allow for official civil ceremonies to be conducted on site by the registrar!)
